Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) training assists participants in the development and maintenance of a Critical Incident Stress Management team. Useful for anyone who wishes to know more about CISM crisis intervention techniques, this training will help prepare individuals to assist distressed co-workers and communities during a time of critical need. CISM training is applicable to healthcare settings, educational settings, fire and EMS, law enforcement, small businesses, medium-to-large corporations, and government agencies.
The CISM training curriculum meets or exceeds all requirements and standards set forth by the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation, INC (ICISF). Participants receive an official ICISF Certificate of Attendance and become eligible for Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) upon completion of a course.
The following annual Concussion and mild Traumatic Brain Injury training (mTBI) was developed by Dr. Doria and Isolm Global Strategies. In 2013, while serving on active duty, Dr. Doria was assigned as the sole Clinical Neuropsychologist and Program Manager for the U.S. Coast Guard’s Psychological Health (PH) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Program. The Coast Guard’s “TBI 101” DVD is used to train Coast Guard Officers and Enlistees on Concussions and mTBI. This training supports (or satisfies) the Congressionally mandated Department of Defense (DoD) annual training requirements for Concussion and mTBI.
The TBI 101 documentary provides an overview of TBI related education for the purpose of generating awareness about concussion / mTBI for all Coast Guard personnel.
